Zadania
- The main mission of the Site Quantity Surveyor is to work with the Contract Responsible and to have full autonomy over its main different following missions:
- Measuring of Quantities:
- checking and verifying contractor\\\\\\\'s measurement (physical quantities, contractual entitlement)
- Checking contractor:
- Labour and management time
- Costs of equipments
- Totality of the material
- Stocks of materials and equipments
- Quantities of all the Items
- Undertaking costs analysis for preparing Additional Work Order and Contract Amendments, including bills of quantities
- Examining all quantum justification
- Evaluating prices and unit rates proposed
- Back charging and claim: assist in preparing any quantum section for back charging and claim
- Providing advice on contractual claims;
- Analysing outcomes and value in detail of all contractor progress reports;
- Valuing completed work and arranging payments;
- Maintaining awareness of the different contracts in current use and maintaining files for all measurement exercises;
Wymagania
- Quantity surveyors must have the ability to understand construction plans.
- Quantity surveyor must also be able to use cost estimation software.
- The Site Quantity Surveyor is working in team with Contract Responsible on site. He/she has the complete knowledge of the contractual obligations of the parties. He/she will participate in the management of the relationship with the subcontractors on site.
- The Site Quantity Surveyor will be part of the construction team on site.
- The Site Quantity Surveyor will be operationally linked with the Supply Contract Manager.
